
HIDDEN CAMERA ON HUNGER
One in five children will go hungry in America this year, a startling reality that many are unaware of, and even more are unsure how to help. Unilever and Ahold joined forces to put a Hidden Camera on Hunger through an in-store sampling experience that quickly became a viral sensation. Shoppers were made aware of what hunger looks like and how their actions could make a difference.
The program didn’t just boost purchases — it also empowered shoppers to become advocates for change. Each Unilever purchase or social share contributed directly to combating hunger in their communities, transforming everyday consumers into changemakers.
